Skyline Wilderness Park is a protected open space located in Solano County, California, approximately 15 miles east of Fairfield. Comprising roughly 1,200 acres of rolling hills, oak woodlands, grasslands, and seasonal creeks, the park provides significant habitat for a variety of wildlife including deer, bobcats, and many species of birds. Historically, the land was ranch and farmland before being converted into a regional park to preserve its natural character and agricultural heritage. Visitors can explore over 14 miles of multi-use trails suitable for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
